How far in advance should I book?
Two to three weeks ahead is ideal for most parties, and four to six weeks for large installations, corporate functions or catering for big groups. Weekends in spring, summer and the festive season fill up first.
Short notice? Send us your date anyway. If the team and stock are free, we'll make it work.
How do I book?
Send us your date, venue and what you have in mind through the enquiry form, WhatsApp (068 576 9870) or email. We'll come back with ideas and a written quote, usually within two business days.
Your date is confirmed once the 50% deposit on your quote has been paid. Until then it isn't reserved, and prices on the quote can change.
How does payment work?
A 50% deposit secures your date. The balance is due before your event, and the due date is shown on your invoice. We accept EFT; please use your quote or invoice number as the payment reference.
Giggle Factory is not VAT-registered, so no VAT is added to our prices.
Which areas do you cover?
We're based in Gauteng and work across Johannesburg. Travel and delivery are quoted per event based on distance, and shown as their own line on your quote, so there are no surprises later.
Outside Gauteng? Ask us. It depends on the date and the size of the job.
Do you deliver, set up and pack away?
Yes. Our team delivers, sets up and styles everything before your guests arrive, then comes back to pack down and collect hired items afterwards. We'll agree the setup and collection times with you when we confirm the booking.
Can you match my colours or theme?
Absolutely. Send us your colours, invitation or a few inspiration pictures and we'll match the balloons, backdrop and table styling to them. Custom colour blends are part of what we do.
Do you do catering, and is there a minimum?
Yes. Catering packages start at 20 guests. Menus are built from your choice of proteins, starches and sides, and can be combined with décor and equipment hire so one supplier handles the whole day.
What can I hire?
Chairs, tables, glassware, backdrops, plinths, signage and other party equipment, either on its own or as part of a styled setup. Tell us your guest count and we'll suggest what you need.
How long do the balloons last?
Air-filled balloon garlands and installations stay looking good for days indoors. Helium balloons usually float for about 12 to 24 hours, depending on size and temperature.
Balloons last longest indoors and out of direct sun and heat. Outdoor setups in strong sun or wind won't last as long, so tell us if your event is outside.
Are balloons safe for small children and pets?
Uninflated or burst balloons are a choking hazard for children under eight and for pets. Please keep an adult eye on little ones around balloons and pick up any pieces straight away. We never do balloon releases.
What if I need to cancel or move my date?
Let us know as soon as possible. You can move your booking to another date, subject to availability. How cancellations and refunds work is set out in our Refund Policy.
Do you do corporate and trade orders?
Yes. Choose "A corporate event" or "Trade / wholesale" at the top of the enquiry form and we'll ask for the details we need. We can invoice registered businesses.
